Moosical Fun for your Little One:

Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play.

Music is an essential part of every child's development and the 125+ original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way.

It's a great way to make new friends - both for the children and the adults too, so come along and let's get ready to mooove!

Look at some of our magnificent moovers and shakers having fun!

What's coming up on Chestnut Farm...

Noo Term, Noo Moo!

It's the dawn of a new era at Moo Music Coalville & Ashby de la Zouch, as we now have gone full time and have lots of noo regular sessions running!

I can't wait to get started, this is going to be one a-MOO-zing year!

We now have brand spanking noo MooBorn Baby Massage sessions starting in Heather on Thursdays for our littlest moovers (8 weeks-6 months). Our MooBorn Massage sessions will teach parents how to massage their children to help ease problems, such as constipation and colic. We will still have our Moo Music songs in session, but only the most calming of melodies (I'm floating in my balloon...)

A bit about us...

My name is Liz Barrett and I will be your farmer (session leader) for the Coalville (LE67), Ashby de la Zouch (LE65) and Swadlincote (DE11 / DE12) areas.

In 2015 I became a mum to Sophia and found attending groups with her a vital part of our weekly routine.

I have been working with children since 1999, when I started my BTEC in Childhood Studies. In 2004 I qualified as a teacher with BEd Honours from the University of Gloucestershire, specialising in children aged 3-7 years.

I have had the pleasure of working with children and their families in Children's Centres in Coventry, Bristol and Warwickshire. I am passionate about early attachment and how this underpins children's future learning.

I have undergone training in Makaton and use this in all of my sessions, as I believe all children can benefit from using signs to develop their language skills. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate and undergo regular Child Protection training.

I believe Moo Music provides a fantastic opportunity for children and families to learn together whilst engaging in fun activities!
