Moosical Fun for your Little One:

Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play.

Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 100+ original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way.

It’s a great way to make new friends - both for the children and the adults too, so come along and let's get ready to mooove!

Let's Celebrate!

We're going to be mooving and shaking to songs about light and celebrations this term, until December time when we'll be turning our attention to Maggie's favourite celebration - CHRISTMAS!!

We can't wait to see you all, so make sure to book your place now!

And just in case you missed it, please make sure to take a look at our wonderful noo Moos Letter for the first half of our Autumn term!

You were Spooktacular!

Our Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday 28th October 2017 was great, spooky fun and so, so messy! Your moovers were incredible and everyone had a great time.

A bit about us...

My name is Liz Barrett and I will be your farmer (session leader) for the Coalville (LE67), Ashby de la Zouch (LE65) and Swadlincote (DE11 / DE12) areas.

In 2015 I became a mum to Sophia and found attending groups with her a vital part of our weekly routine.

I have been working with children since 1999, when I started my BTEC in Childhood Studies. In 2004 I qualified as a teacher with BEd Honours from the University of Gloucestershire, specialising in children aged 3-7 years.

I have had the pleasure of working with children and their families in Children's Centres in Coventry, Bristol and Warwickshire. I am passionate about early attachment and how this underpins children's future learning.

I have undergone training in Makaton and will be using this in my sessions, as I believe all children can benefit from using signs to develop their language skills. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate and undergo regular Child Protection training.

I believe Moo Music provides a fantastic opportunity for children and families to learn together whilst engaging in fun activities!
